My 12 year old son's travel basketball team played against Cooperstown this weekend. So we made the 80 minute drive from Albany NY to Cooperstown. We had a great day and my sons team won.
Cooperstown received about almost 4 feet of snow last week making it a perfect setting for SnowFest 2007 held Feb. 15-19.
I snapped some nice photos of the snow sculptures being worked on for the 2007 New York State Snow Sculpting Championships. It's amazing what these artists can do with a block of snow!
The village was packed with tourists and locals alike who enjoyed all the indoor and outdoor events organized for the Cooperstown SnowFest.
